You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. User Content

By posting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with providing and promoting our services.

4. Acceptable Use

We aim to cultivate a positive, welcoming gardening community. You agree not to:

• Post abusive, harassing, or discriminatory content.
• Spam the community feed or post excessive self-promotional material.
• Upload viruses, malicious code, or attempt to disrupt the platform's security.
• Impersonate others or provide false gardening advice intentionally.

5. Intellectual Property

The Garden Roots name, logos, design systems, and proprietary AI tools are owned by My Garden Roots. You may not use our intellectual property without prior written consent.

6. Pro Subscription

Garden Roots offers optional Pro subscriptions with premium features, including AI Garden Coaching, Disease Scanning, and advanced planning tools. Pro subscriptions begin with a 14-day free trial. Unless canceled before the trial ends, you will be billed according to the subscription plan you selected. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

7. Disclaimers

Not Professional Advice: The gardening data, AI recommendations, and plant care information provided on Garden Roots are intended for educational and hobbyist purposes only. They do not constitute professional agricultural, botanical, or environmental advice. Always exercise your own judgment, and consider consulting local agricultural extensions for critical crop decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Garden Roots and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the platform.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time through your profile settings.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which My Garden Roots operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Your continued use of the platform after changes implies your acceptance of the new Terms.
